I'm Yuushinku

My artist name is a bit Japanese but I am actually a Filipino illustrator.I work in both digital and traditional mediums (mostly pencils, watercolor, or markers).I’ve been drawing since my elementary days, when I used to write and illustrate little stories for my classmates (tho I did burn them all out of high school embarrassment haha!). I'm hoping to recreate them someday as webcomics or graphic novels when my writing catches up to my art! Growing up on classic anime heavily shaped my style and imagination.I've been sharing my art on Instagram since 2018 and always love doing trades and collabs with fellow creators. I also did a few commissions back then.

After taking a hiatus to focus on family, I’m back and diving into commissions full-time to help with my living expenses.As a side hustle, I run a very smol local printing business while looking after my two nieces, our family dog Charlie, two family cats (Bongby and Skrttie), and two other totally adorable but freeloading neighbor cats hahaWhen I’m not drawing, you can usually find me doomscrolling on TikTok, checking PLAVE updates on X, or playing Survive the Apocalypse on Roblox.
